Teriyaki chicken

I stumbled upon a recipe and tweaked it to make it a “clean” version. Not that it’s dirty lol. I just didn’t want the refined sugar, soya sauce and corn starch in it so I modified it.

I took chicken thighs and took all the skin off them. Place them in the crock pot. The chicken was only 5$! For 7 thighs. Pretty awesome.

Then mix up 

1/2 cup of maple sugar

1/2 cup of braggs liquid soya seasoning

1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar

1 clove of garlic minced

1/2 tsp of ground ginger

1/2 tsp of black pepper – I use freshly ground.

Pour over the chicken and cook on high in the crock pot for 3-4 hours

Supper is going to be yummy tonight!
